Workplace Health and Safety Compliance Audit
Has your work place been assessed to determine whether you are meeting your occupational health and safety obligations?
ERGOSH consultants are able to inspect your work place and identify areas of non-compliance with the range of health and safety regulations and relevant standards, and provide a detailed report along with recommendations to remedy any identified deficiencies.
Implementation of Health and Safety Management Systems
Does your Occupational Health and Safety Management System conform with AS/NZS 4801 or SafetyMAP?
ERGOSH is able to conduct internal audits of your organisation’s safety management systems against a range of standards including AS/NZS 4801. We can assist with the implementation of your safety management system, through developing policies and procedures and providing training, to inform and instruct employees how to best implement the recommendations.
Office Ergonomic Assessments
Have you conducted an Ergonomic Assessment of the office areas in your work place to determine whether your workstations are set up correctly? ERGOSH consultants are able to inspect your work place office areas and identify areas where improvements can be made. The consultant will make personalised adjustments with employees at their workstations where possible and written recommendations will also be provided.
Noise Assessments
Have you done a noise assessment in the last five years? There is a requirement for employers to assess employees’ exposure to noise, where the employees may be exposed to noise levels greater than the allowable exposure standard of 85dB(A) Leq8hr. ERGOSH consultants are able to conduct noise assessments in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 and in accordance with AS/NZS 1269.
Manual Handling Assessments
Is your organisation complying with the occupational health and safety legislation? Have you recently assessed your work place to determine whether there are any tasks that involve hazardous manual handling?
ERGOSH consultants are able to conduct Manual Handling Assessments at your work place, identifying tasks in your work place that involve hazardous manual handling, assess the risk associated with these tasks and provide detailed recommendations to remedy any identified deficiencies.
Plant Assessments
Have you assessed your work place to determine whether the hazards associated with your plant and equipment are appropriately controlled? ERGOSH consultants are able to conduct plant risk assessments on plant used at your workplace, assessing the risk associated with any identified hazards and provide detailed recommendations. Guidance can be provided on the guarding requirements for machines as specified in AS 4024 – Safeguarding of Machinery along with direction given in relation to safe systems of work including isolation and tag out procedures.
